It is the beginning of the 4th Age... Sauroman and Sauron are disembodied spirits, their allies and followers defeated, scattered...Slowly the Eldar elves still left in Middle Earth are leaving...Noldor outposts standing empty or housing other races...men...hobbits....Slowly the places with whom the Teleri once traded were fading away. From the court of the Sylvan Queen, Olwe hears snippets of things, the rising of man...the fading of the elves...the coming of the drow...but nothing that overly concerned the ancient king....

From the court of the Sylvan Queen, Olwe hears snippets of things, the rising of man...the fading of the elves...the coming of the drow...but nothing that overly concerned the ancient king....
Then the dreams began...dreams of elves whose looks were foreign to his eyes, of beings that defied his wildest imagination...of the rise of a great evil, different than any he has known, insidious, relentless, growing, gathering strength. Then one night, before him appears Irmo, Lord of Dreams, who commands him to seek to know the cause of his dreams but who will say nothing more than, "Seek thee, the elven clans, and prepare ye."
With dread in his heart, he sailed to the sylvan lands, to the court of Queen Comet...an ally and friend, the dearest to his heart. But before he could meet, he received a message to return home..."The skies above Alqualonde, my lord..grows light." Upon his return, he finds the swanhaven quiet, still, empty. To his great joy, Earwen lands a few days later, and Lord Osse appears, but no one knows where the Teleri went nor why, nor what it may mean...
Now, not only must Olwe seek out and reunite the elves, he must solve the riddle of the missing Teleri.
<Earwen's story>
Olwe: Earwen has never met her mother....She left the Teleri when Earwen was a small child. I was born at the waters of awakening...I didn't know...well, I had not met Tilion yet, and her mother and I were dear friends...I didn't really know one love from another... We had this wonderful child, but ....well, we loved each other dearly but not as soulmates...as lifemates..so she went as her heart called to her...but she sacrificed knowing her daughter so as not to deprieve the Teleri of an heir. But Earwen has no idea who her mother is, nor does any other Teleri...it was so long ago...the centuries have masked her identity. Now there are rumors that Earwen have secretly traveled to Aryador, curious abou the world outside Aman, amind rumors that somewhere among the elves outside Aman and Middle Earth is her mother. But I made a promise to her mother to never reveal her mother's idenity, although we have ever kept contact these long centuries..
