from J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion
The Teleri were the third clan of Elves to move from Middle Earth to the Blessed Lands. They live on the coast, in the city of Alqualondë. They are famous mariners, and rightly proud of their swanships. Alqualondë has recently moved back to the mortal world, in preparation for the expected war.

When Elwë (Elu Thingol) went missing in Beleriand, Olwë took the lordship of the Teleri and led them safely to Aman. Olwë became Lord of the island of Tol Eressëa, where the Teleri built a great number of cities, and grew in number. When they finally came to Eldamar some centuries later, Olwë became king of Alqualondë. Called upon to take up the challenge of the 4th Age, Olwë must now find his missing people and unite the Teleri and other elves of Middle Earth against a new and growing Darkness.

Blessed Lands - Ainur
from J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion
The Blessed Lands (or Undying Lands) are the hidden paradise in the Far West, home to the immortal spirits, and ancient refuge of the Elves. (At the very end of Lord of the Rings, Frodo sails toward the Blessed Lands.)
The Ainur are a race of spirit beings, older than the created universe. They are more limited than demi-gods, and have more individual personalities than angels. Ainur are by nature spirit beings, but they can, if they chose, manifest either visible illusions or actual physical bodies, especially if they need to interact with the created races.
The 14 Valar are the leaders of the Ainur; the others are known as Maiar.
